Sadie had her babies Saturday, February 6, 2010.  She had two little nonstandards.  One is, we think, a blue tortie, which would mean a female; and one we're just not sure of what color he/she is.  A lilac?  A chocolate?  A cream?  But we are sure it's a beautiful unique color.

Lyla had her babies  February 5, 2010.  She has four nonstandards and one little standard Napoleon.  It's too soon to tell what colorpoint they'll be, but they're definitely longhaired beauties and will have beautiful blue eyes!

We're a small homebased cattery located outside of  New Orleans, Louisiana.  We specialize in breeding Munchkin and Napoleon kittens (sometimes called rughuggers) in our homes where our litters are raised literally "underfoot" with lots of love and attention.  As a result, they're very socialized.   

We limit the number of litters we have in order to be able to give each litter the amount of love and attention they need.  Our only problem is we fall in love with all our babies and suffer "empty nest syndrome" when it's time to tell them goodbye and hand them over to their new families.

MUNCHKINS

 A Munchkin is a cat with very short forelegs. They also have very kittenish personalities that they tend to retain even as adults.  They're very laid back and easy going, yet at the same time, they love to play.  They can be any color, any hair type. 

They're divided into two categories:  A Standard Munchkin, which has the very short forelegs, and a Nonstandard, which has normal length legs but still has the wonderful personality of the Munchkin.

NAPOLEONS

A Napoleon is a Standard Munchkin mated with a registered Persian.

Just when you thought it couldn't get any better - it did!  Imagine the beauty of a Persian without the health problems and without the high coat and eye maintenance.  The result is a first generation Napoleon. 

Whether the Napoleon is bred with a Munchin, another Napoleon, or a Persian, the result is always a Napoleon. 

The Napoleon has the same fantastic personality as the Munchkin.
